CONVENE aims at creating a significant meetings industry marketplace and meeting place for the countries of the Baltic Sea region. The format is based on the pre-scheduled face-to-face business meetings with international buyers and organizers. CONVENE is a significant PPP (public-private partnership) project.

The first ever meetings industry event for the countries of the Baltic Sea Region - CONVENE 2013 - was held at the beginning of February 2013 and achieved genuine success. More than 500 participants attended the exhibition with over 2400 pre-scheduled one-to-one business meetings with the 115 international meeting planners and additional meetings with local buyers who attended the event.
